STUDIO:

All dancers must wear masks at all times while on the premises. In addition, everyone must provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid test from the past 72 hours. No parents or teachers will be allowed to enter the building.

THEATER:

Latest update from the Theater (12-29-21):

Individuals, regardless of age1, entering our facility needs to present proof of completed vaccination status2 along with a picture ID to verify identity3OR
a negative PCR test result4 showing those results no earlier than 72 hours prior to entering our facility.

  1. This includes children of all ages and infants, understanding that children under 5 are unable to be vaccinated and would need to have a negative PCR test result.
  2. At least 2 shots no earlier than 14 days prior to arrival at ECA for Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or a single shot J&J vaccine.
  3. Children under the age of 12 will not be required to present an ID.
  4. Antigen or other quick tests are not eligible. As much as we would like to make exceptions to these standards, we are unable to do so at this time, so anyone not meeting the above standards will not be able to enter our facility.

EDMONDS CENTER FOR THE ARTS
COVID-19 SAFETY ADDENDUM

Edmonds Center for The Arts requires proof of vaccination, or a negative covid test result from an accredited laboratory or medical facility, dated no longer than 72 hours prior to the event for entry to all performances and events in our facility.

ARTIST AND BACKSTAGE STAFF MASK REQUIREMENTS

Masks are required in all areas of the theater except when performing on stage. Masks may be removed in the green room or other dressing rooms if all in attendance are in agreement.

Masking is required inside ECA. All patrons, staff, and volunteers will be required to wear masks, except while actively eating or drinking. Eating or drinking is only permitted in our lobby or patio. No food or beverages are permitted in our theater. With the goal of balancing ease of use for patrons with safety, we will accept photos or copies of vaccine cards/test results or electronic proof, along with a valid photo ID.

Those unable to be fully vaccinated, including children under 12, must provide proof of a timely negative COVID-19 test (taken within 72 hours of performance). Self-reported negative test results that are not from a laboratory, or health care provider cannot be accepted and entry to our facility will be denied.

Licensee is required to provide their own COVID-19 officer. This officer will be responsible for checking vaccination cards or proof of negative test, and ID’s prior to attendees’ entrance into the facility. The officer will also be responsible for making sure to have a clear registration list for contact tracing. This list must include, first and last name, and a way to contact the person. COVID-19 officer will be responsible for screening participants and patrons for the day of the show as well as any rehearsal days, working with ECA personnel as needed. This might include extra security at the patron entrance, depending on the size and nature of the event. More details about ECA’s requirements below:

FULLY-VACCINATED PATRONS

A patron vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer), or a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson), is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the final dose of vaccine (the second dose for a two-dose regimen, or the single dose for a single-dose regimen). Documentation of vaccination status must be shown with valid ID upon entry to the venue and available upon request at any time.

The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination:

  • Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered) OR
  • A photo of a vaccination card as a separate document OR
  • A photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device OR
  • Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record.
  • Matching photo ID required at the door

Initial
Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted and entry to our facility will be denied.

UNVACCINATED PATRONS

Patrons unable to be vaccinated, including children under 12, will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to the performance.
The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result:

  • Printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR
  • An email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.
  • The information provided should include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date of negative test result.
  • Matching photo ID required at the door

Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider, a laboratory, or a health care provider cannot be accepted.
There will be no separate sections for vaccinated/unvaccinated patrons.

PATRON MASK REQUIREMENT

Masks are required for all patrons, in all sections, except when actively eating or drinking in our lobby or patio area. Eating or drinking in our theater is not permitted at this time. Per public health guidance, children aged 2 and under are not required to wear a mask.

FULLY-VACCINATED ARTIST AND BACKSTAGE STAFF

By signing this contract addendum, licensee agrees that all on-site artists and support staff will be fully vaccinated before entering Edmonds Center for the Arts facilities. It is the responsibility of the promoter to check for valid forms of vaccination proof at least (2) weeks prior to the event such as,

  • Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record.
  • A scanned copy or photo of a vaccination card.

Or proof of negative Covid test within 72 hours of first rehearsal/performance, such as:

  • Printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR
  • An email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.
  • The information provided should include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date of negative test result.

If the event consists of a large ensemble of artists (ex. local dance company of 100+ dancers) Licensee can opt to verify proof of vaccine upon entry into facility.
