Last week, I finally saw a show in the Doris Duke Theatre. It’s stunning! And it allows Jacob’s Pillow to stretch beyond its traditional summer season. This October combine a trip to the Pillow with some gorgeous Berkshires fall foliage. The first weekend brings Youth America Grand Prix: Fresh Voices in Dance (Oct. 16–18), showcasing work by emerging choreographers from the ballet world. Then Doug Varone and Dancers (Oct. 23–25) celebrates the company’s 40th anniversary with Varone’s No Matter How It Ends, featuring music by Radiohead, and Lux.
