YAGP is thrilled to announce a partnership with Jacob’s Pillow – America’s longest-running international dance festival, bringing new voices in dance to American audiences since 1933.

On October 16-18, 2026 – almost a century after the founding of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival – YAGP will bring the newest voices in dance to the storied stage of the Doris Duke Theater. Fresh voices in Dance will showcase the next generation of choreographic talent emerging from the ballet and contemporary dance worlds.

Youth America Grand Prix conducted a global search to select several inaugural fellowship recipients to create original works through the Marcella Hymowitz Creative Fellowship for Choreography. Fresh Voices in Dance brings together an exciting group of emerging choreographers, including YAGP alumni, whose bold and diverse artistic voices reflect the evolving landscape of ballet and contemporary dance.

Choreographers in the program include Braylon Browner, William Dugan, Davidson Farias, Manoela Gonçalves, Isabella Howard, Alexander Mockrish, Nnamdi Nwagwu, and My’Kal Stromile.

Performers in the program include dancers from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, Alberta Ballet School, Houston Ballet II, ABT Studio Company, Boston Ballet II, and the winners of the YAGP 2026 competition season.

Building on its longstanding commitment to supporting the next generation of talented dance artists, the Marcella Hymowitz Creative Fellowship at YAGP aims to support young dancers finding their voice through choreography. Made possible by a generous gift from Gregg Hymowitz, the Fellowship gives emerging choreographers the resources to develop innovative new work that pushes the boundaries of the artform. Fresh Voices in Dance at Jacob’s Pillow will mark the first public presentation of works created through this initiative.
