Wei Wang created roles in Bubeníček’s Fragile Vessels, Dawson’s Anima Animus, Forsythe’s Pas/Parts 2016, Peck’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming and In the Countenance of Kings, Pita’s Björk Ballet, Possokhov’s Swimmer, Scarlett’s Fearful Symmetries, and Tomasson’s Caprice. He has danced featured or principal roles in Tomasson’s Giselle (Peasant pas de cinq), Nutcracker (King of the Snow, Chinese, Russian, and Grand Pas de Deux Prince), Romeo & Juliet (Acrobats), The Sleeping Beauty (Prince Desiré and Bluebird), Swan Lake (Act 1 pas de trois and Russian), Concerto Grosso, and On a Theme of Paganini; Balanchine’s Diamonds, Prodigal Son, Serenade, and Theme and Variations; Caniparoli’s Lambarena; Lifar’s Suite en Blanc; van Manen’s Solo; Nureyev’s Raymonda—Act III; Peck’s Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes; Possokhov’s Fusion and Magrittomania; Robbins’ Opus 19/The Dreamer and Other Dances; Scarlett’s Fearful Symmetries, Frankenstein (Creature), Hummingbird, and Pas de Deux from Promenade Sentimentale; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella.

His repertory includes Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Coppélia, and Scotch Symphony; Cranko’s Onegin; Morris’ Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes and Maelstrom; Possokhov’s Classical Symphony, Firebird, and The Rite of Spring; Ratmansky’s Shostakovich Trilogy; Robbins’ Glass Pieces; Thatcher’s Manifesto and Stone and Steel; Tomasson’s Bartók Divertimento and The Fifth Season; Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; and Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour. Wei danced Tomasson’s Concerto Grosso at Fall for Dance at New York City Center in October 2017 and at the Despertares Gala in Guadalahara, Mexico, in July 2016. He performed in the 2015 film of Tomasson’s Romeo & Juliet (Acrobats) for Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance.
