The award-winning documentary, First Position, followed six young dancers through their journeys to realize their dreams at YAGP’s New York City Finals Week.

YAGP’s First Position Club provides members an exclusive “Behind the Scenes” view into dancers’ journeys into the world of dance. Members choose events from the YAGP Behind-the-Scenes Series where they interact and share intimate experiences with the artists, directors, educators, and other celebrated leaders of the dance community.

First Position Club leadership members support YAGP’s mission to ensure the future of dance by nurturing the dance artists and leaders of tomorrow.
