Diana Albrecht began her studies at Academia Elizabeth Vinader, followed by Studio Nicole Dijkhuis and Centro de Danca Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She went on to train at San Francisco Ballet School Summer Program. Prior to joining Boston Ballet, Albrecht danced with Companhia Jovem de Ballet do Rio de Janeiro, under the direction of Dalal Achcar, and with The Washington Ballet. Albrecht joined Boston Ballet in 2011 and was promoted to second soloist in 2015. She is a recipient of the National Award of Dance, and was classified in the Top Twelve Senior Division at Youth America Grand Prix in 2005. In 2008, Albrecht was featured as one of Dance Magazine’s "25 to Watch." In 2016, she was selected as one of the 30 under 30 most influential Latino leaders in Boston by the newspaper El Mundo. Albrecht is also pursuing a degree in Business Management at Northeastern University.
