Support the future of dance

Support the future of dance

Youth America Grand Prix is the largest global network of dance and the largest pipeline of talent to the world’s dance schools and companies. Each season, YAGP auditions more than 15,000 dancers, in the US and internationally, giving students ages 9-19 the opportunity to study on scholarship at internationally acclaimed dance schools and companies.

Since its inception in 1999, YAGP has served more than 250,000 dancers worldwide and facilitated more than $5 million in scholarships to the world’s leading dance academies. Over 500 alumni are now dancing at more than 100 professional companies around the world, including American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Paris Opera Ballet, Dutch National Ballet and Mariinsky Ballet, among others.

This wouldn’t be possible without the support of corporations, grantors, and individuals like you. Join us in supporting these talented and deserving young artists – and ensuring the future of dance.

YAGP offers three areas for funding:

To ensure YAGP’s ability to provide critically needed education and professional exposure opportunities for young dancers regardless of their socioeconomic background, YAGP has launched the YAGP Scholarship Fund. The YAGP Scholarship Fund provides financial aid to highly talented under-resourced students – including underwriting the cost of their participation in regional scholarship auditions, travel costs, coaching, costumes, and other expenses associated with dance training and preparing for scholarship auditions.

Support for
Ukrainian Dancers

We have always believed in the power of the arts to save lives – sometimes literally – and in the past few weeks we have been working on helping talented young Ukrainian dancers find a new dance home where they can continue their training. To date, we have secured safe transfer and placement of over 100 dancers.

However, these young dancers still need your help – with room and board, living expenses, the cost of travel to the schools where they can continue to train safely, and other dance-related expenses.

The funds collected will go directly to the students to help them reach safety and practice their art. For these young artists, dance is their life – and by making it possible for them to continue training, you would make life possible for them.
