Gennadi Nedvigin graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. His professional experience includes dancing at the Moscow Renaissance Ballet and the Le Jeune Ballet de France in Paris, before joining San Francisco Ballet where he soon became a Principal Dancer. Mr. Nedvigin is a winner of the Erik Bruhn Prize (1999) and two Isadora Duncan Dance Awards (2001 & 2010), Mr. Nedvigin served as ballet master for a number of works and he also staged Classical Symphony at Tulsa Ballet, Romanian National Ballet, and Atlanta Ballet. In February 2016, Nedvigin was appointed the fourth artistic director of Atlanta Ballet in the company’s 87-year history.
