Meelis Pakri was born in Tallinn, Estonia, and graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Mr. Pakri danced as a principal dancer with Estonian National Ballet and Colorado Ballet and appeared as a guest artist with Martha Graham Dance Company and the International Ballet Festival in Havana, Cuba, among many others. At the age of 22, Pakri was invited to teach at the Tallinn State Ballet School. Mr. Pakri was a ballet master for Colorado Ballet and Houston Ballet, and as a highly regarded guest teacher at The Royal Ballet Upper School and the Estonian National Ballet, also guest teaching in Japan, Denmark, Italy, Hungary and throughout the United States. Mr. Pakri is currently a full-time member of the dance faculty at The Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida.
