Michael Auer studied ballet at the Vienna State Opera Ballet, Ballet Memphis and the School of American Ballet. He danced with the North Carolina Dance Theater, Eliot Feld Ballet and Frankfurt Ballet, later joining Pacific Northwest Ballet as a Principal Dancer. He was a faculty member of Pacific Northwest Ballet School, consulted for the Slovak National Ballet and the Hungarian National Ballet. Mr. Auer has produced ballets for the Gala de Etoiles, Alaska Dance Theater, Grand Rapids Ballet and California Ballet. He serves on the Advisory Board for CriticalDance.com and is currently a company teacher and coach for the Grand Rapids Ballet.
