“Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” is an annually sold-out, spectacular Gala performance, featuring the top winners of the YAGP international student ballet competition and world-renowned guest stars, including alumni from the world’s leading dance companies. Hailed by The New York Post as “the highlight of the New York ballet season,” the YAGP Gala gives the audience a unique chance to see some of the best professional dancers performing today (“STARS OF TODAY”) and the most promising young dance artists from all over the globe (“STARS OF TOMORROW”). This year’s all-star cast will feature Diana Vishneva and Marcelo Gomes; Daniiil Simkin and Anna Ol of Staatsballett Berlin. The program will include World Premiere choreography and performance by YAGP Alumna Lauren Lovette, of New York City Ballet, and a performance by Mariinsky Ballet’s rising stars Maria Khoreva and YAGP alum Victor Caixeta, and more. Following the Gala performance, patrons including guest artists will gather on the Koch Theatre promenade to enjoy dinner and dancing.
