Richard Bowman trained at the Royal Ballet School in London, and danced with Royal New Zealand Ballet, Vienna State Opera, Leipzig Ballet and Australian Ballet. He also performed and taught with Pittsburgh Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, and Sacramento Ballet, taught at the Broadway Dance Center and in Houston Ballet. He later joined the ABT JKO School as a senior faculty member, and became a member of the ABT National Training Curriculum Artistic Board of Examiners and Instructors.
