Sally Rojas was born in Caracas, Venezuela and started training in Miami, and trained further at SAB joining ABT II at 16, dancing and touring extensively with the company. For many years, Ms. Rojas was a Soloist at Houston Ballet, amassing a varied repertoire of classical and contemporary parts. Since her retirement she has been a leading Faculty Member of the Houston Ballet Ben Stevenson Academy. As an invited teacher, Ms. Rojas travels all over the United States and to Central and South America, holding teacher training workshops in addition to master classes.
